BIOCHEMISTRY SESSIONAL 1

I finished my first exam about 3 hours ago. I think I did well. It was very wierd. A lot of the questions were ones that I didn't expect. We were told that we didn't need to know any chemical structures, but they ended up putting two or three questions on the test. It was okay though. Hopefully they grade well.

I still have the practical exam to do. That is really easy though. I'll study for that the night before. Over here, we also have this thing called "Viva Voce." That is an oral exam in which you talk for about 10 minutes one-on-one with the teacher. They just keep asking you about the subject. It is a little scary at first, but I'm used to it by now. I actually tend to like it now.

Well, wish me luck....

Hardcore studying...

Tomorrow is my Biochem sessional............ Today is a day of madd hardcore studying......... "It's on like Donkey Kong......."

Lecture 15/10

More Diabetes Mellitus junk, specifically complications resulting due to DM.

Also, we had a trial MCQ (Multiple Choice Questionnaire) that was "worth 10 points." I got a 9 so was pretty happy. Sucks that it doesn't count for anything.


Class is cancelled for tomorrow because no one is showing up to classes. It's only because exams start on Monday....

Lecture 14/10

First lecture back. 8-9 am.

 

Covered Insulin: Purpose, Production, Deficiency, other stuff.  Also covered Diabetes Mellitus: Causes, Symptoms, Complications, Treatments, How to Diagnose, Susceptible Persons, etc....

 

Good lecture overall....

First day back...

Just as I expected, the school didn't know what to do about the casual class. Also as I expected, I was the only one there. Anyways, we did Colorimetry today. They made it extremely short today. I was done in like 10 minutes (after sitting through 20 minutes of crappy lecture). Oh well, it was good either way.

School Starts Tomorrow

A new school year starts for me tomorrow.....I think....

I'm only taking one class so I don't know for sure whether I have it tomorrow or not....I'll just go and find out. I know lectures start Tuesday though. Damn, mandatory 8 AM classes again. Oh well, u gotta do what u gotta do....

I found out I don't start classes until Monday the 11th. I've been so bored recently with nothing to do. That's actually how this site got started.......
